Music & Science 5.7.15

Who would've thought, science and music would ever merge? Well, it did. Someone decided they were going to do some research on trends in American music and what's had the biggest impact! Interestingly enough, they picked 3 periods to work with. 

1. The British Invasion
2. New wave & post-punk rock.
3. Hip Hop

Would you believe, Hip Hop was the widest spread and most influential since it's start in 1981. They believe this is because it reached more markets and started a totally new genre and trend, rather than building on something previously existing.
