2014 Top Ads and their music 12.31.14

Well,  here we are. The last day of 2014. Wow, this year flew by! I was checking out the top 10 advertisement campaigns of 2014 to see how diverse the music was throughout them all.

Interestingly enough there were a few on this top 10 list that had no music. The ever famous "world's toughest job"- being a mom, and the "save the children" ad.

However, in the other 8 there was a myriad of music to love. From classical, to the Bee Jee's, to ukulele's. It's all there!

My personal favorite is Under Armour's ballet ad with Misty Copeland. Taking ballet to the level of intense sport was brilliant for the ad, but the music takes this campaign to a different level, in my opinion. It starts off with a soft piano solo, and grows to a triumphant ballad of electronic symphony as she twirls and twirls.

The licensing world is full of surprises and we're excited to be part of it, we look forward to all the creative and interesting projects we'll be part of in 2015.

Here's the link if you'd like to check out the ads and stories behind them!
